|"Man I'm bout ready to choke one of these cats & we're just gettin' started!"|
However, when some cats open their mouths you immediately cringe because you know they're about to say something that is so stupid that it's embarrassing. What's so crazy is that it's true to some degree but because they have no filter it's always way out of line. Ya boy Antonio Cromartie, who plays corner for the Jets, is that guy. He was asked Tuesday on ESPN's First Take where he would place himself on the depth chart at wide receiver after head coach Rex Ryan said that he could be asked to play the position this season. You know in different packages etc.
Cromartie responded by saying that he thought that he was the #2 receiver behind Santonio Holmes. Now Cro is probably one of the most athletic players in the league and can probably play wide out with no problem. However, he doesn't make a living playing wide receiver and there are other cats on that roster that do. Now he is probably more gifted than the Joe's that they have on the roster I will admit that. However, you can't say it to the media even if it's true bruh. I know boyz talk crazy noise in the locker room before practice to get it going and that's part of the game but you can't slam your teammates in public because that's another thing the media has to run with. Keep in mind you are in training camp and the less distraction the better.
That's like calling out the screw up family member that just can't get right. The entire family can blast him or her behind closed doors but you better not say a word about them in public or it's gonna be a fight. Y'all know I'm telling the truth bruh. You can't slam a boy and think that every thing is cool until the cat that got slammed says it's cool. He's only gone say that it's cool once he gets his lick back.
You remember growing up and a cat would catch you off guard, fire on you and run home? You and the whole crew would run all the way to his crib and demand that he come back out on the porch so that you could get your lick back because it ain't cool until you say it's cool. So if the kid's mom wouldn't let him come back out she just prolonged the situation for another day because it ain't over. Oh yeah, he was gonna get ran up on and it was probably going to be worse now. See if ole boy had just come back outside he'd only get punched in the arm or something because everyone knew that his mom was watching. If he gets caught in the park or in the cages he gets beat down for running and involving his mom in the first place. I didn't make the rules bruh I just followed them to the letter.
The problem with this whole situation is that the Jets have enough drama in the locker room already. Whether they'll admit it or not they're still trying to figure out this whole Tebow thing. There trying to keep Sanchez from trippin' because every question that he's been hit with is about Tebow, the cat that's supposed to be his back up. Then you've got Santonio who's a proven loose canon and now you've got Cro making depth cart predictions at wide out.
I know the Notorious R.E.X. is feeling like your mom in the car back in the day with all of the kids as they start fighting in the back seat. "Ma, he's looking at me! Ma, he's hitting me! Ma, he's not looking straight ahead! Ma, he's breathing my air! Ma, he's in my space cuz he crossed the line! Y'all already know the famous line that comes next, "If I have to stop this car! Ima beat the bark off of all of y'all!" Stop me when I start lying bruh!
I know Rex wants to just grab all of these duns by the collar at this point. Let's keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! They've lost 8 games already and the season hasn't even started. Why, because football is the ultimate team sport and all 11 guys on the field have to do their jobs in sequence in order for things to run smoothly. Most importantly, there has to be good team chemistry on both sides of the ball to win at the level needed to be successful and you can't do that with boyz beefin'!
Let's keep it real family. The locker room ain't nothing but the streets because it's always divided into territories and factions. If the wide receivers got beef with Cro and a couple of linebackers are cool with the wide receivers then they've got beef with Cro too and so on and so forth. So it's not just Cro having beef with a couple of wide outs. He's got beef with 15 other cats because of loyalties and in turn they got beef with another 10 to 15. So in all actuality, you've got almost 30 or more players at odds because 1 cat didn't have the wisdom to pass on a clown question. Y'all know how the streets work bruh!
Real talk, Cro should never be allowed to speak to the media because he has terrible judgement. Any cat that has 12 kids by 8 different women(8 by 7 women & 4 by his wife) shouldn't even be allowed to get undressed on his own bruh. I mean this clown has the capacity to do or say anything because he's proven that he doesn't think at all.
This is the same dun that got a loan for $500,000 from the Jets during the off-season of 2010 not a month after he was traded to the team because he was behind on child support! Let that sink in for a minute or better yet say it out loud 3 times and Holla At Ya Boy. Now do you really think that this cat should have access to vocal cords or better yet male genetalia? He's got too much testosterone that's why keeps having babies and slamming his teammates. The Jets won't even make the playoffs but they'll be fun to watch because of all of the drama and I know the old timers will be making up words and phrases as they're watching them get the doors blown off of them this year.
Holla At Ya Boy!
